Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Vyse Digital ("we", "us") collects through this website and the Boosted WordPress plugin, why we collect it and what you can do about it.
1. Who is responsible
Vyse Digital, [BUSINESS ADDRESS]. For any privacy question or request, write to [CONTACT EMAIL].
2. Data we collect on this website
- Email updates. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send product news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Support and enquiries. If you contact us, we keep the message and your contact details for as long as needed to answer and keep a record.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
This website does not load advertising or analytics trackers and does not set tracking cookies. Fonts, styles and scripts are served from our own domain.
3. Purchases
Payments for Boosted Pro are processed by Freemius, Inc., which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. When you open the checkout, Freemius loads its own script and collects your name, email address, billing details and payment information under its own privacy policy at freemius.com/privacy. We never see or store your full card number. Freemius shares with us the details we need to provide your license: name, email address, country, the plan you bought and your license status.
4. The Boosted plugin
The plugin runs on your own WordPress site. A fresh installation does not send data to us.
- Optional usage data. On activation the plugin can ask whether you agree to share diagnostic data through Freemius. This is off unless you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
- License checks. Boosted Pro contacts Freemius to validate your license and deliver updates. This sends your site address and license key.
- Services you switch on. Features such as Google PageSpeed measurements, Google Analytics, Tag Manager and reCAPTCHA contact those services only after you configure them. The plugin readme lists every external service, what is sent and when.
- Your visitors. Consent records and other data the plugin creates stay in your own WordPress database. You are the controller of your visitors' data.
5. Why we use your data
We use personal data to deliver licenses and updates, answer support requests, send the emails you asked for, keep the website secure and meet legal and tax obligations. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, or a legal obligation.
6. Who we share it with
We share data only with providers that help us run the business: Freemius for checkout and licensing, our hosting provider, and our email provider. We do not sell personal data.
7. How long we keep it
We keep purchase and license records for as long as your license is active and afterwards for the period required by tax and accounting rules. We keep subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe, and support messages for as long as needed to handle the request and keep a reasonable record.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will respond within the time the law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers are covered by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
